Course Objective

Module 1: Introduction to ISO 45001

Module 2: ISO 45001 Structure and Key Concepts

  • High-Level Structure (Annex SL)

Outcome: Familiarity with ISO 45001’s framework and guiding principles.

Module 3: In-Depth Clause Analysis

Breakdown of Clauses 4–10:

  1. Clause 4 – Context of the organization

  2. Clause 5 – Leadership and worker participation

  3. Clause 6 – Planning (hazard identification, risk assessment, compliance obligations)

  4. Clause 7 – Support (competence, awareness, communication, documented information)

  5. Clause 8 – Operation (operational controls, emergency preparedness)

  6. Clause 9 – Performance evaluation (monitoring, auditing, management review)

  7. Clause 10 – Improvement (nonconformity, corrective action, continual improvement)

Module 4: Implementing an OH&S Management System

Module 6: Certification Process

Module 7: Performance Monitoring and Continual Improvement
